Thank you for everyone who wished me and my family a Merry Christmas. This year has been a roller coaster ride for us but we feel truly blessed.

As a year ender I have decided and agreed to do a cover shoot for UNO Magazine. UNO (and also Rogue) are Men's magazines that I like.  Very classy men's lifestyle magazines.

I was surprised that they asked me if I wanted to be on the cover.  Panic attack at first.  I cannot and do not know how to pose sexy. I could already imagine how much I would be laughing at myslef at the shoot and try to mask awkwardness and embarrassment with laughter (yes, I do that).

But at the end of the day, I know the people behind UNO and I would always tell my guy friends that I would not mind knowing they pick up UNO from the rack (comparing it to other men's magazine of course).

As predicted, a lot of laughing, giggling, and weird awkward poses happened in that shoot.  I feel a little silly but what the heck right? I am young, and I am taking off!! Hahahaha!!

I will let you all be the judge. Pick up a copy of this:

...And then let me know what you think. I personally have not yet seen the inside. So please also let me know. Email me a copy at since I am now readying to fly out to the US and meet our favorite DJ Mo Twister and start setting up for GOOD TIMES NY edition.

Oh by the way, this is the other photo that did not make the cover:

I think you guys know what I think right??  ;)

After her debut ON AIR at our Radio program headed by Mo Twister Leana now has become a celebrity. One of my favorite On Air performance is Billionaire by Travie Macoy.  Here it is!

If you missed her TV Debut on Party Pilipinas I will share the link with you here. honestly, I think if Leana did the rap part all on her own during Party Pilipinas it would have been cool! Just saying!  =)

Last Sunday was the GAME 1 of the PBA's Governor's cup finals.  It was Talk 'N Text vs. Petron. I watched it live at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with my friends to support a friend's husband (team).

It was a great game. Petron won by a basket on the last second of the 4th quarter. But I am not about to give you a run-down of the game. I just wanted to share to you this video of Mark Yee and Anthony Grundy getting their love on.

Hi guys! I've been getting a lot of emails asking if there are BB Creams left.

For the "sample sale" we do not have anymore.

But we do have them in regular price already!!!

Call IYAH at 0917-276-6946 and she will take care of your orders.

As promised, here are some photos I took with the NBA Players that visited and played for team SMART ALL STARS!

Thank you sir MVP for having me and now officially part of Sports5 I am very excited as to what is in line ahead.  Mixed Martial arts, Boxing, Basketball, Football... A whole lot of good things ahead. Watch out guys! AKTV on IBC 13, Sports5's sport channel, has a whole lot of surprises for everyone. I guess you'll be seeing more of me there. =)

Got this from Facebook...Decided to just walk up to Kobe Bryant during half time and ask him to sign my ID. He did!!

Of course I asked for a photo! He was nice to say yes...

And another one for safety!  =)

Look at how happy I was checking my phone to see if we had a good photo! Hehehehe!!

I was that close!! All the action right in front of my eyes. I was kinda hoping that Kobe, or Rose, would land on me. Hahahaha!

Well, I guess I was...I don't know what I was thinking here. Hahahaha!

That night I decided to go to KYSS and look who was there?? Durant and McGee inside the DJs booth having fun!

Kevin Durant was enjoying himself!  And the crowd loved him! He was rapping away...All I could remember were some Jay-Z songs.

So I guess that is Javale's paparazzi face? hahaha! He wasn't disappointed or anything. He was just trying to give a tough look.  ;)  And I was standing on a chair in the DJ's booth to get this shot..

This photo with Durant I asked him to smile 'coz McGee would not. Hahaha!  And he did. He was very friendly. He asked what song I wanted, I told him anything Jay-Z and he asked the DJ to play some Jay-Z.  He asked for my name and he was calling out "angelicopter blah blah blah" on the microphone.

I wish Rose was there... He was not. Tyreke Evans and Fisher were there along with their entourage. Fisher was at our table and he was really nice and a good boy. Was drinking water the whole night and just watching over his boys, I guess.

The first day of the ALL STARS Weekend was just amazing. I have more photos and videos to post. So visit my blog again soon!

Let me start by thanking all of those who follow my blog and find it interesting. I appreciate it very much. I decided to start “blogging” not to self-promote or anything like that. I decided to blog just to post what I find promising or relevant and share it with a few people who may share similar interests. With that said, I do not blog to persuade anyone into believing in my advocacies. We are in a democratic country, are we not?

I respect your comments, and positions. I am fully aware that we all cannot agree on the same things. That rarely happens. I’m sure you agree with me on that one.

On the Duterte video, I stated, “the end does not justify the means.” I stand by my statement. It was probably insensitive for me to not expound on that statement and assuming that everyone understood it. I am in front of my laptop now for two reasons the first being I found the time to do so and second is give you my two cents on the matter.

Let me put a disclaimer here: no, I do not feel the need to explain myself, or my thoughts to other people as long as I am not hurting anyone by doing so. No pun intended. I am also not convincing my readers to drop their own set of values and embrace mine. I love that you fight (not physically) for what you believe in.

So, here goes…

I did not say Duterte is a bad person.
I did not say that she does not love her people.
I did not say she has not accomplished anything for her city.

I simply stated that the end does not justify the means.

The “end” is the “goal” or objective. The “means” is the method or strategy one uses to reach their end.  As Aristotle puts it, happiness is the end of man. We all try to be truly “happy”. I am pretty sure that Duterte meant well. But this not give her the right to physically hurt someone be it in ethics or the laws of man. Never is it ok for one to physically hurt another human being.  We are not savages even if we are the only species in the world that kill our own kind. Sad, but lets make it a better place, shall we?

Why is this specific incident controversial when people physically hurt  other people everyday? Because she is a government official who should lead by example. Once a government official is sworn in he/she should know that her responsibilities go beyond outputs. Why do we give our president a tough time when he goes out for a drink or two in a bar, or when he shows interest in new women, or when he decides to buy a sports car? Because we are of a sensitive culture and these things matter to us. Did we not love it when President Noy Noy decided to lead by example when it came to the “wang-wang” escorts? I think this really is a no brainer.

But we commit mistakes, correct? We are not perfect. Duterte herself apologized for what she did. That is good that she recognizes it now that she has thought about it. I am pretty sure at that time she punched the officer her adrenaline rushed thru her veins and was not able to control her temper. It happens to the best of us.

Again, thank you for visiting my blog and respecting my opinion!

Don't you just love receiving gifts? It's even better when it's not for any specific occasion. I received a goody bag from Forever21 today and i love their gifts. Thank you so much Forever21!

They told me that you can also get these items for free and/or at a discounted price with a minimum purchase of Php5,000.00 in store. Don't forget to ask the cashier for your coupon. This is part of their anniversary promotions this month. Yipee! This one is unilateral July 11, 2011 only if I'm not mistaken.

They have other gift items to be given away from Nivea, One Natirale, Tous Perfumes, and Clean and Clear.

For the golfers out there, or maybe just for the rainy season, get your free limited edition Forever21 foldable golf umbrellas for a minimum purchase of Php3,000.00 only. Nice! No photo of the umbrella yet because mine has bornite been delivered. Hahahahaha!

And if you're eyeing on that GE Digital Camera then you're in luck because SM Gadgets will be giving away coupons for great discounts! Clap clap!

Who knows, we might give away more gadgets on the show or here on my blog. ;)

I wish we can always make films as good looking as Rakenrol. Altough it's only a trailer I know this will be good. It looks very promising and it also doesn't hurt that it is directed by the talented Quark Henares (son of Dra. Vicki Belo).

I want to check out more of our local indie films. Can you give me suggestions of the really good ones? Thanks guys! Let me know what you think of the RAKENROL trailer too!  =)

I am posting this link here so that we will never forget that we have politicians who feel that they can get away with anything.

Remember, the end does not justify the means.

I remember on the VIP night of Forever21 opening in SM Megamall I was able to crash the party. I wasn't able to buy anything because the lines were just super long and I was overwhelmed with all the clothes and accessories.

It's been a year and Forever21 is celebrating it's one year here in Manila! Continuously expanding, now with it's second branch at SM Makati, Forever21 is the solution to all our problems. Affordable fashionable clothing!

Vargas entrance at SM Megamall and the Forever 21 entrance facing the Intercontinental Hotel in SM Makati. All BDO credit card holders also get 5% rebate with a minimum purchase of P5,000 from July 1 to July 3.

Apart from all the fashion fun, a minimum P 3,000 spent in the stores from July 1-9 entitles one to a fab Forever 21 umbrella.  SM Advantage, SM Prestige, and BDO Rewards Card holders also have the chance to win cool cameras – there will be six winners of GE X-500 cameras and four winners of GE C1233 cameras – available at the Gadgets section of the SM Department Store.  Every P5,000 minimum single receipt purchase entitles one to an Electronic Raffle coupon when they use their cards.  The electronic raffle draw will be held on July 15, 2011 at 3PM at the MCI Head Office at the fourth floor of One E-Com Center. I was watching TV yesterday and saw this really cute and funny commercial. Lola Techie is back!  If you don't know who I'm talking about take a look at her older commercials, no pun intended.

It took me a while to find the new commercial but thanks to our friends over twitter, here it is. I really LIKE it! What do you think?

Browsing the web and I came across Ed Westwick's ad for Penshoppe. I got this photo from which is one of my favorite blogs because I get updated on the latest ads, editorials, and marketing campaigns.

My comment when I saw the photo was:
"He doesn't look very manly or bad-boyish here...hmmm..."

Grace Lee said:
"They shot him here in the Philippines? They didn't even show Philippines..."

Grace made a very good point. If the ad was shot here in Manila it would've been nice if they showed some part of our country... I don't mean to single out this ad by any means.  I just hope that we all come to this realization that Grace opened me to.

If and when we have the chance to promote our country especially thru the international market I hope that we jump on that opportunity.

But then again Ed Westwick as a model for Penshoppe, which is a local brand is also a big step in promoting our local brands.  So good job to Penshoppe for that.

During our radio show I eavesdrop a lot on what Grace Lee is looking at over the net.  Whether she is shopping online, reading her favorite Korean online comics, or browsing videos on Youtube I really enjoy checking out on what she's up to on her laptop.

Like this video from Youtube on how a guy proposed to her girlfriend. I saw Grace watching it and I want to share it all to you. From Grace's pink laptop, to my pink laptop, to your device!

I am very happy that finally Johnoy Danao is getting the recognition he deserves for his talent.  So happy to see him part of a TV Commercial of Emperador Light.  I like this commercial more than the older Emperador commercials.  It's all natural  and happy!

Unless you're od school and like this story board instead??

Really not my preference... I like Ryan Agoncillo and Johnoy Danao for Emperador Light! Good job to the Ad Agency who made this new TVC!

Last Friday I hosted the AZKALS "We Believe" event at Trinoma. It is an event to show support for our Philippine Football Team. There were a lot of people that came out to get a glimpse of their favorite Azkal.

I was able to snap a few photos while backstage with the boys. Oh I know how a lot of other girls would be in my shoes. Hahaha! Well, there were a lot of good looking players I tell ya!

The Team

Kaholeros head cheerleader and that's "chief" in a head lock.

Team Captain Alli with yours truly. He's very nice. It was refreshing that even if he was tired already from a wholeday of events he was able to throw in some small talk. Thanks Alli! You're very accommodating!

Anton Del Rosario with me! I live his tan. He has the best tan on the team. And best eyes? Well, I've said it on radio that I think he's one of the best looking Azkal. I may be biased because he's with W Talents just like yours truly.

James Younghusband was able to make it before the event ended but Phil was not able to go.

That is Fiona..NOT James' sister. Sorry girls, that's his ever hot and pretty football player of a girlfriend. And she's really nice and sweet too! =)

Goal keeper Neil Etheridge. Ok he's another crowd favorite. Quite a hottie. If I combine Anton and Neil it equals my husband. Yes, ganon ka hot husband ko. Oh and did I mention that Neil is also from W Talents? Hehehe! I love my agency!

Check out the crowd on the side trying to get a glimpse of the players.

Ang dami nila!

With Rich Herrera, my co-host or the day and Neil Etheridge. W Talents.

Wish I took more photos but I was busy working also. I had so much fun! Watch and support the Azkals on July 3 with their match against Sri Lanka! It's going to be at the Rizal Stadium. See you there!
