It is a little funny but I hope we can teach our children better things. =)

ANGEL MEETS ANGEL
Being part of a great and fun radio show and radio station has certainly open its doors for. I feel blessed! Thank you!
Over an hour ago I just finished doing an interview with Ms. Angel Aquino. No, I did not interview her. She interviewed me. Wow!! I never thought in my life that would happen but it did. I am one lucky girl!
Nine years ago I remember seeing Angel Aquino in Boracay. She was sun bathing with her daughter in front of Pearl of the Pacific at station one. I fell in love with her beauty and body. I told myself that I will strive to be like her. She's a mother of 2 lovely daughters but yet look at her. She is gorgeous, healthy, sexy, has an awesome career, and she is happy!
As soon as she got to my house for the interview I kept my composure but of course I told her that I'm a huge fan for years now. I look up to her. I am one of the many women she inspires.
She is the sweetest and nicest person one can meet. I am nobody to her. Seriously! But she was so nice to me and it was sincere. We exchanged beauty tips, parenting tips, and some stories. She took her time to listen to me even after the shoot. She did not rush to leave or anything like that.
To top that off, she sent me text message thanking me and all. What?? Is this really happening?? I am so happy that is why I am sharing this moment with you. I hope we all have more of these moments. I also learned a few more things about Angel and I will share them with you.
1) She also gets conscious even if she's almost perfect (if not yet); but it's ok.
2) It's ok to wear a bikini even if you have stretch marks. She doesn't care.
Honestly I didn't not notice her stretch marks in Boracay.
3) She eats brown rice, like me, to stay healthy.
4) She does not stay under the sun as much as she wants to anymore because it is bad for our skin. But she loves the sun. I love her color!
5) She grew up in Marikina, where I live now.
6) She is also Capampangan like me!
7) She doesn't always get to put lotions or moisturizers and other stuff when she's tired and lazy to do so.
Bottom line, she's like every single one of us. It was very nice to meet you Angel Aquino. Highlight of my week!

COCA COLA: HOUTE COUTURE
Karl Lagerfeld, Heads the House of Chanel, was commissioned by Coca Cola to design special limited edition Coke Light bottles in Paris, France.
You know you're an icon if you have a "look" that everyone recognizes and make images out of it. I love Lagerfeld's image here.
Launched a few weeks ago I had the hardest time finding those Coke bottles. No, I do not collect Coke bottles but I am a big fan of Tito Karl (and a Chanel lover).
Finally, earlier today I was lucky to find some at Pritemps department store. My friend Arnold who collects Coke bottles was super happy also!
This series of Lagerfeld bottles come in 3 different designs and costs €49 for all 3 as opposed to a regular bottle here which costs about €1.95 each.
Let me know if you think it is worth it. I bought it because it's a collectible and it's Karl Lagerfeld's design (and maybe because I didn't want to get left behind).
I just hope I meet Tito Karl in person soon. Perhaps in one of his Mobile Art exhibits. For now it's Coke-Chanel for me! ;)

I NEED YOUR OPINION
I love my high heels. I shop wearing four to five inch heels. When I was pregnant I had to wear shoes with low heels just because I tripped more in wearing flats.
But there comes a time in a woman's life where she gets smitten by a pair of classic flats. I do not know why but I am obsessing with Fratelli Rossetti's Hobo shoes. Walking around Venice I would constantly see their ad and how they are able to show how soft these shoes are. If you haven't heard yet, I have a thing for leather. I smell and love leather. ;) When I saw this ad I just kept dreaming about the Hobo shoes.
It is a "lace-up without the lace." Simple yet stylish.

So from Venice, to Rome, to Florence, and now in Paris I am still thinking if I should buy these shoes. I tried them on in Florence and they are super soft and comfortable. I can run around the mall with my son and still look chic. No offense to the moms out there that prefer thongs on their feet. I just really think that slipper-like sandals should be for home use only (as practiced in our University).
I went back and forth in their boutique in Florence. I fell in love with the beige/tan colored Hobo. The problem was it was their last pair and it was a little dirty. These shoes do not come cheap (about 250 Euros if I remember correct). You have to pay for real good leather here. Hand-made shoes by the way!!! Where else can you get that?? Good brand, stylish, and impeccable quality!
I was going to ask your opinion if I should buy these but I just totally convinced myself already. Hahaha! This trip is EXPENSIVE!!! I am maxed out but happy!!!
They do not sell Fratelli Rossetti Manila but I know for sure in Hong Kong they have it. Check out their website if you want to know more about their shoes (and bags if you like). I love their men's shoes as well! You should definitely have a Rossetti whether you are a girl or a guy!

ARE YOU A "SILLY" TOURIST?
I wonder who started this "pose" on the Leaning tower of Pisa... One person did it and everyone now has to do it. More than our famous "wacky" photos (Filipinos talaga) the pulling and pushing of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the more popular tourist shots.
Yes, I did it too! Now my husband (twitter.com/johncruz0308) took photos of tourists who can't seem to get it right! ;)
Oh you would want to travel with us!! We find entertainment in the silliest things!! More silly stuff from our fun-filled Euro-trip!! =)
P.S.
The person in the last photo has a series of Euro-trip photos that I will be posting soon! For your entertainment! Hahahaha!
